Ever
sit back and wonder what it must have been like racing many, many years ago?
Back when stock cars were stock, and when you needed a part you headed out to
the local salvage yard or farmers field to find a most likely well
used stock part. Don't get me wrong since there has been racing there has been
folks willing to modify or fabricate their own parts from what ever they could
get their hands on but today amounts to running down to the local auto parts
store, picking up the phone or jumping on the internet and grabbing some
aftermarket specialized parts trying to gain that advantage over your fellow
competitors.
The purpose
of this segment of our website is to relive a little bit of our local racing
history for those who have lived it and to share it with the newer generations
of racers and fans alike.
If anyone
would like to share a few of their old photo's , stories or a photo that has a
story behind it we would gladly post it here to be shared with others in our
local racing communities to see.
Here are some pictures
of our local Dirt Track Roots
